The Grace of God in Jesus Christ

What does that phrase mean to me?  I will take it one word at a time.  God is the Almighty, sovereign God who is holy and righteous and perfect.  Grace is undeserved favour.  Why is it undeserved; because we are sinners in rebellion against God.  “In Jesus Christ.”  The grace can only be given us because Jesus died as a sacrifice for our sins, if we believe.  If we do not believe in Him there is no hope for us, we are already condemned by God. (See John 3:18) Ask and you will receive.
