I'm now a keen Bubbler

But I don't intend to desert my reader here on Blogger. some of you have been reading my posts for several years.  There is no way I want to drop you. This is the site where I mostly express my religious views and speak on related ethical matters.  I know I come across as very strict when it is difficult in this life to know what is the right way.  I try to give you what I see as the biblical viewpoint. I do believe in absolutes but I am also a caring person who realizes life choices are not easy and straight forward on some occasions.  I just feel it is important to start with a very strict application of the Bible and then work with that to see what is the best way forward for those involved.
  So I hope to be here for a long time yet giving you some starting points for your decision making. I appreciate that you continue to stop by here.

Life after death

When we lose a loved one it is natural to wonder how they are faring in the next life. I would warn against going to a medium to find out. At worst these people are charlatans after your money, the rest misguided or worse. We are told in the Bible not to try to reach the dead. The best person to call on in this situation is Jesus. That's right, go to the top. He is always available through prayer and doesn't make a charge. All he requires is that you look for him with all your heart. He has the answers to all of life's difficult questions.

Persecution of the sick in Britain

The British government, through the benefits system is persecuting thousands of people who are not fit to work, giving them very skimpy benefits. People who are not able to work for health reasons are not able to stand up for themselves. The goverment will answer to God when the suicides happen. People were treated in this way back in the Old Testament. Then exile was the result for the perpetrators. Something equally as bad will happen to those in power today. The churches should be aware that there are people in need and set up soup kitchens for these people.Many are in this position through no fault of their own. They should be helped not looked down upon.

Persevering

Sometimes it's hard to keep going with something we have started. A little setback can get in the way of trying to do something good. I want these thoughts to touch your heart and make you think things through. However as I cannot tell if anyone has read them unless you comment, I get disheartened and feel I am a voice calling in the wilderness. But who can tell who might light upon this page and be really encouraged or helped in their journey of life. If only one person was helped it would all be worthwhile.
