You put your trust in Jesus long ago, but now the way seems very difficult. We are not promised an easy journey here in life. Often life is difficult. We are to be faithful to our Lord come what may. We may suffer persecution from those around us who do not share our faith. It is hard going, but we are promised a reward in heaven if we remain faithful.
